Scopes

Modified on Thu, 01 Feb 2024 at 03:58 AM

Scopes refer to locations on the Org Tree that dictate where functions can be performed (i.e. assessments, findings, questions). For each location on the Org Tree, EASE will automatically create a scope.

To access Scopes, navigate to Organization and select the Scopes tab at the top of the page. This menu will showcase all accessible levels of the Org Tree within the organization, along with the user's name.

A: Search for a scope by using keywords related to the scope's name.

B: Create a custom scope.

By default, Ease adds scopes for each location, but custom scopes can be created that only apply to certain areas in the organization. Custom scopes can then be applied to to specific questions or an assessment document.

Create a name for the scope and choose the applicable locations from the menu. Once completed, click Save to add this scope to the Org Tree.

C: Sort scopes alphabetically.

D: Select a scope to view its details.

Use the dropdown menu to view this scope's allowed locations.

To edit a scope's details and location, navigate to the Org Tree tab. More information on the Org Tree can be found here.

*Note: System scopes can not be deleted.
