Departments in Beacon are used to group users together for reports. These are groups of employees representing units like HR, Finance, Quality, and other various operational units. There is a default Quality department created, but feel free to delete or rename it.
- Click to add a department.
- Enter the name and description .
The name and description of the department can be edited by through the following steps.
- Navigate to Admin > Organization > Departments, then click on a department name to access the settings.
- Click on the Department Name or the Description.
- Enter a new name or description and click on Save at the bottom of the page.
