By default, the start windows is 0 days. This means that the event can only be completed on the day that it is due. By adjusting the start window, you can allow users to complete the event early.
E.g. A start window of 2 calendar days for an event scheduled for a Friday allows the user to complete the event on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday. The event is available to the user 2 calendar days before the due date.
Another example: A start window of 2 days for an event scheduled for a Monday allows the user to complete the event on Saturday, Sunday, or Monday. The event is available to the user 2 days before the due date.
If you have a start window larger than 0, Beacon will send an email notification to the user the first day the user can complete the event.
